TNA Impact results, live discussion (Jan. 8, 2026): Contract signing
TNA is gearing up for a busy week with the television debut on AMC and the Genesis PPV. But first, TNA handles business with Thursday night Impact (Jan. 8, 2026) to set up those shows. As such, Frankie Kazarian and Mike Santana will have a contract signing for the world title bout on AMC. The broadcast also features Stacks defending the TNA International Championship against Steve Maclin, one last dance for the System in an all-star match before Dango’s retirement, and more from El Paso, TX.
TNA Impact airs at 8 pm ET on TNA+, AXS TV in the USA, and Sportsnet 360 in Canada. (Note: TNA Impact debuts on AMC on January 15.)

TNA IMPACT RESULTS FOR JAN. 8
The Hardys were not in a good mood after the Righteous’ shrine last week. Digging into their family life crossed the line. Matt Hardy wants to delete the Righteous from TNA. Vincent once again said that the Righteous are not a threat. They only want to elevate the Hardys. If they have a match, Vincent wants there to be peace afterward. No deal. The Hardys are angry about trespassing into their private lives. Vincent reluctantly agreed to the tag team match, but it will be at Genesis so they have time to prepare for the legends.
Steve Maclin is focused on getting the international title back from Stacks. Eric Young interrupted. He warned that if Maclin doesn’t complete this mission, then the Cleanse will.
Dani Luna defeated Harley Hudson. Luna dominated early with power. Hudson’s rally was extinguished with the Luna Landing bomb to win. Afterward, Luna beat up Myla Grace for another Luna Landing. Lei Ying Lee came to the ring, and Luna retreated. Not so fast. As soon as Lee turned her back, Luna attacked to choke out the champ. The rookies did nothing to help and cowered in the corner. Xia Brookside ran in for the save. Luna handled her with the Luna Landing. Luna stood tall holding the Knockouts Championship.
Ryan Nemeth flirted with Mara Sade. When he couldn’t take the hint of rejection, she superkicked him.
Agent Zero is missing from Order 4. Mustafa Ali didn’t have any more time until his state of the union address. As Order 4 moved on, the camera showed Agent Zero slumped over from an attack by Elijah.
Ash found Mr. Elegance. It was a random old man stagehand. He’s been in TNA for eight years, but they didn’t recognize him. The Personal Concierge was eager to turn him into a diamond with a makeover and a hair transplant. Ash, Heather, and M celebrated. The kung fu man from last week is keeping an eye on the ladies for protection.
Mustafa Ali doesn’t understand Spanish and thanked the fans for calling him Mister Culero. Ali wants to make changes to TNA, such as no more concerts, guitars, or cowboy hats. The TNA board favored democracy, so Ali put these rules to a vote by the crowd. They booed loudly. Ali was done being nice to the morons. Enter Elijah on horseback. He stepped down to chase Order 4.
