The Ducks have been a pleasant surprise this season, currently sitting at 33-23-3 and in second place in the Pacific Division. With a 93.6% playoff probability, they are in a strong position to make the postseason. Controversial Interpretation
One controversial interpretation is that the Ducks may opt to wait until the summer to try to sign or trade for a right-shot defenseman. However, with Cutter Gauthier and Leo Karlsson due raises as RFAs this summer, GM Pat Verbeek might not want to spend so liberally.
